_ARTIST STATEMENT/DEKLARACJA

​My entire creative activity is subordinated to the idea of direct expression. I strive to illustrate thoughts, which cannot be expressed other than through a phenomenon, image or object. I achieve it through the use of simple forms, symbols, archetypes and all motifs related to culture. Sometimes I manage to show them in a new light, as a painting or spatial form. Then I discover meanings which I thought did not exist but which must have interested me. Therefore, I would define creativity as a type of medium, which allows me to interpret different phenomena and pass on my observations and thoughts.

​Cała moja twórczość podporządkowana jest idei bezpośredniej ekspresji. Dążę do zilustrowania myśli, które nie dają się wyrazić inaczej niż poprzez zjawisko, obraz, bądź przedmiot. Pomagają mi w tym proste formy, symbole, archetypy oraz wszelkie motywy związane z kulturą. Czasami udaje mi się je ukazać w nowym świetle w postaci obrazu lub formy przestrzennej. Wówczas odkrywam sensy i znaczenia, których istnienia nie podejrzewałem, a które jednak musiały mnie nurtować. Twórczość określiłbym więc jako rodzaj medium, które pozwala mi interpretować różne zjawiska oraz przekazywać dalej swoje spostrzeżenia i myśli.
