LIGHT OF THE WEST, a series of paintings created as part of an artistic scholarship from the Mayor of Wrocław

This project is a series of paintings inspired by my childhood memories spent in the Polish countryside and the influential artistic movements of that time. I was particularly moved by the Wrocław expressionists, whose work was a revelation for me and motivated my move to Wrocław to pursue my artistic career. Key figures of this movement include Waldemar Cwenarski, Zdzisław Nitka, and Krzysztof Skarbek, among others from the New Expression movement in Poland.

The aim of this project is to create a connection between the past and the present through art. I hope to illustrate the significance of Wrocław expressionist art, which for me serves as a vivid and direct reflection of life, the spirit of the times, and the positive energy present in Poland both before and after 1989.ic influences from that time: the art of the Wrocław expressionists, whose work was a revelation to me and which made me move to Wrocław to create. ŚWIATŁO ZACHODU, cykl obrazów realizowanych w ramach stypendium artystycznego Prezydenta Miasta Wrocławia

Jest to projekt cyklu obrazów na temat jednej z moich najwcześniejszych i najważniejszych, osobistych inspiracji artystycznych, mianowicie sztuki wrocławskich ekspresjonistów, których głównymi przedstawicielami są Waldemar Cwenarski, Zdzisław Nitka, Krzysztof Skarbek, a także inni artyści nurtu nowej ekspresji. Projekt jest próbą zbudowania klamry czasowej, która za pomocą sztuki połączy czas przeszły z teraźniejszym. Chciałbym, żeby mój projekt unaocznił znaczenie wrocławskiej sztuki ekspresji, która była i jest dla mnie żywym, bezpośrednim odzwierciedleniem życia, ducha czasu i pozytywnej energii obecnej w Polsce tuż przed, a także po, roku 1989-tym.
