The theme of tropical forests, palm trees, bamboo stalks etc., evokes the conditions of a primitive man. His figure often appears in my paintings in different situations. I think that it corresponds, somehow, with the view according to which, the savage man is the personification of a shadow, the hidden side of human personality.

Motyw lasów tropikalnych, palm, łodyg bambusowych, przywołuje na myśl środowisko człowieka prymitywnego, dzikiego. Jego postać często pojawia się w różnych sytuacjach na moich obrazach. Myślę, że koresponduje to z poglądem według którego człowiek dziki jest uosobieniem cienia, ukrytej strony ludzkiej osobowości.
